The Planning Connection is excited to present the Meeting Professionals Retreat, March 7, 2012. We are offering a vibrant new way of learning and networking. We will take you to Prairie Creek Lodge, a relaxing location where you can embrace the natural surroundings and enjoy a fun and exciting learning experience among colleagues.
There will be one-on-one time engaging planners and suppliers, as well as group interaction, as we embark on "putting the pieces of a meeting together." As a group, we will explore the obstacles we all face in planning events, and share different ways to overcome them. We will reveal insights about what has made our meetings successful and how we handled (or could have handled) the ones that were not. We will use smaller group sessions to address any questions, and generate ideas to solve your specific event planning problems.
Whether you are new to the business or an experienced planner, the Meeting Professionals Retreats are a great way to network, learn, and continue building relationships within the industry.

Who Should Attend?
Meeting Professionals Retreats are open to anyone who plans at least one meeting or event per year outside of Gainesville. Florida convention and visitors bureau and hotel sales representatives are also invited to attend. To maintain a casual and productive atmosphere, we've limited attendance to only 25 planners and 25 suppliers.
What is Prairie Creek Lodge?
We've chosen a beautiful, rustic, but modern facility for our Meeting Professionals Retreats. Prairie Creek Lodge is located in the rural community of Rochelle, Florida, just a few miles southeast of Gainesville. The lodge and surrounding 1,150 acres of natural Florida are owned and operated by the Alachua Conservation Trust. Transportation will be provided from Gainesville.
