The Planning Connection, Inc. is excited to bring you Meeting Professionals Retreat on March 7, 2012, at Prairie Creek Lodge in Rochelle, Florida.

The Meeting Professionals Retreats bring qualified planners(government, education, associations) and suppliers together for one-on-one appointments and group discussions, as we discover ways of "putting the pieces of a meeting together." We will take you to a relaxing location, where you can embrace the natural surroundings and enjoy a fun and exciting networking experience among colleagues.

Retreat Fee:

$425 for March 7, 2012
The fee is per person

Fee includes bus ride, break, lunch with meeting planners, and appointments

Lodging:

The Residence Inn by Marriott Gainesville I-75 has offered a special room rate of TBA including a continental breakfast and parking all day.

Praire Creek Lodge does not have sleeping rooms available.

Reservations:

  • May be made online
  • Call the hotel directly at 352.264.0000; when making reservation, please mention Meeting Professionals Retreat.
  • All reservations should be made on or before TBA. Any reservations received after TBA will be accepted on a space available basis only at the best available rate.

The Residence Inn by Marriott Gainesville I-75 will be the gathering place for both planners and suppliers. Get acquainted while enjoying a breakfast before loading the bus to Prairie Creek Lodge.

What to Wear:

Dress is casual - jeans, shorts, whatever clothes that are comfortable for you. We plan to conduct the meetings outside, weather permitting. Be sure to check the weather the day before to decide what to wear.

What to Bring:

Reusable Items - In an effort to be environmentally conscious, we are asking attendees to bring a few useful items they may have saved from another event.

  1. Badge Holder - If you have a favorite badge holder from another event, please bring it with you. We will provide a 3x4" name card.
  2. Refillable Water Bottle - Water will be provided. If you don't have a bottle to bring, cups will be provided on-site.

Business Cards - To share with planners

Seat Pad or Towel - Meetings will be held outside on the lawn, weather permitting. If you wish to bring something to sit on, feel free. Chairs will be available.

Cancellation:

All requests for cancellation must be made in writing and received no later than February 15, 2012. Prior to February 15, 2012, a refund will be given, less a cancellation charge of $200. THERE WILL BE NO REFUND FOR CANCELLATION AFTER February 15, 2012. If registrant does not show up on day of event, no refund will be due.
